Identity settings
By default, Trelica combines data from all the identity providers (IDPs) you've integrated with.
However, you can:
  • Change the priority order when there are multiple IDPs.
  • Make one IDP the Single source of truth.
  • Configure a different application, such as Slack or Zendesk, to act as an IDP.
Prerequisites: You must be an administrator of Trelica to view and customise identity settings.

View identity settings

To view which identity providers are used across your organisation:
  1. 1.
    In the main menu, click Admin > Settings.
  2. 2.
    Click the People tab.
  3. 3.
    In the Identities section, a list of your IDPs and their priority order is shown.

Priority order

Trelica populates a person's details (Name, Job title, Location, etc) from the information supplied by the IDP, where possible. If there are multiple IDPs, it follows the priority order in populating this information for each field.

Customise identity settings

To customise your identity settings, check Use custom settings.
Identity settings
To change the priority order:
  1. 1.
    Drag the IDP using the drag icon
    to the desired position.
  2. 2.
    Click Apply changes.
To make one IDP the Single source of truth:
  1. 1.
    Remove any other IDP by clicking the
    icon on their row.
  2. 2.
    Click Apply changes.
To configure another application that you've integrated with to act as an IDP:
  1. 1.
    In the Add identity provider box, type the name of the application and select it from the list.
  2. 2.
    Using the drag icon
    , move the application to the desired position.
  3. 3.
    Click Apply changes.
